Southern Athletics League – Match 3

The club’s senior team scrapped second place in their third Southern Athletics Fixture of the season but remain in contention for promotion. The women’s’ side of the team were thin on numbers but were either first of second in just about every event they entered. Best performance was Paula Holguin’s javelin throw of 41.23 In her first competitive outing for over a year. On the men’s side Craig Lacy was in fine form winning the Discus, Shot, javelin and hammer, the latter in a pb of just over 42m. Brandon Sikity set a pb to win the 110 hurdles and then competed in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault and high Jump. Next match at Sutton on July 13th
