Coaching Structure

Cambridge Harriers offers a whole array of coaching for most age groups and events.

There is a Coaching Committee which is made up of:

 

Coach Mentor – Guy Spencer

Coaching Coordinator – Peter Wishart

Chairman – Andy Knight

This group aims to recruit and train coaches and organise them into a sensible structure.  All the coaches listed on the contact page are UKA accredited coaches.

 

Beginners Group

A 6-week introduction course run for children aged 11-14.  It is based on the Run-Jump-Throw programme, part of Athletics 365 promoted by England Athletics.

Where: Sutcliffe Park Track

Day: Tuesday

 

Time: 5pm - 6:15pm

Women’s Filter Running Group into Cambridge Harriers

This group is for Women ages 20 - 70+ who would like to run with other like-minded ladies.  We encourage anyone to join whether you are a runner, would like to run more or are new to running!

Training Times

 

Sutcliffe Park:

The club has the track booked for training sessions at the times below and nearly all training sessions take place here.  Coaches will advise you the exact time to turn up for your training:

Tuesday evening: 5pm - 8pm

Thursday evening: 5pm - 8pm

Sunday morning: 10am - midday

 

Bexley Clubhouse:

This is an adults group.  For more information, please contact Keith Dungate.

 

Wednesday evening: 7pm - 8:30pm
