A bit of a reunion! The power of the club to help make lifelong friendships was well demonstrated last weekend, writes Mick Bond . Despite being dispersed across the world a number of members, who’s running prime was 50 years ago, are still in touch and with Liz Barnes (GB 800m Olympian from Montreal in 1976) visiting from New Zealand it was good chance to meet up in person.
