Woodford Green Open

The final Woodford Green Open of the season saw as many as 5 club members competing in breezy conditions on a Tuesday evening. Wole Odele took maximum advantage of the legal tailwind to set a new PB of 12.52s in the 100m. Ian McCarthy also improved on his previous Mile best set in 2012, to finish in 6:21.93, and Luc Legon won the 3km Walk in 12:55.30.

Wole also competed in the 400m (58.53) along with Steve Tredray (54.94), this time running into a strong headwind on the back-straight.  Ros Tabor completed the Cambridge turnout in the Mile race, finishing in 6:48.50.
