Assembly League #2, Victoria Park (Thur. 1st May)
A warm night for the second Assembly League race at Victoria Park, Hackney with some club good performance's over 3.5 miles (ish), post- marathon for some. Liam McLaughlin (pictured) had a fine run, in a close fought battle with three Kent AC runners, finishing second in 18:15. Next in was Mattia Bernardi (13th 18:46) followed by James Macdonald (17th 18:55). First club lady home was Rose Baker in 25:41.

UK Youth Development League (Lower), Hastings (Sat. 3rd May)
Our Under 15/Under 13 team finished a solid 3rd out of 8 in their first YDL fixture at Hastings.
The U15G & U15B fielded more or less full teams, writes Emily Yeatman, which was fantastic. We had athletes compete in new events to them to try and score the maximum number of points for the club.
There were PB's for Elizabeth McKen in the 75mH 12.80s; Redemption Nworah 100m 14.20s & high jump 1.25m & Sophie Floyd discus 23.92m.
The boys had plenty of PB’s across the day - Waylon Lee 12.00s in the 100m and 200m (24.70s); Jovani Lindsey 23.90s 200m; Jakob Szustkiewicz 41.20s 300m; Austin Richards 800m 2:11.79s & high jump 1.45m; Raif Mendjeli 2:31.10 (800m); Alex Van den Berg-Hows 1500m in 4:46.90; Levi Mgbedike 80mH in 13.70s. Kendrick Onolememen shot 14.68m & discus 33.64m placing first in both events and Samar Plaka shot 10.90m and discus 33.64m on debut. Maxwell Guezodje threw the hammer for the first time and placed first A string with a distance of 11.29m and javelin 11.90. Sherwin Felix achieved a PB in the javelin 13.96m. Wins for both relay teams an exciting watch at end to the day.
BMC Oxford Bannister Miles, Iffley Road, Oxford (Mon. 5th May)
At the Iffley Road track Oxford where sporting history was made the Bannister Miles celebrated the latest anniversary of Roger Bannister's famous record-breaking run, running the first sub-4 minute mile in 3:59.4s.
In the elite women’s mile Holly Dixon put in a commanding performance to win in a time of 4:40.05s, a personal best.

Ted Pepper Memorial 10km, Bromley (Mon. 5th May)
The annual Ted Pepper 10km race took place at Norman Park on Monday. The race saw 321 runners complete the course,
For Cambridge Harriers Stephen Hodges finished in 6th place overall and 1st M40 in 36:26. Next in was Mark Penny (38:10). Rose Baker was our only female finisher with 48:43 for 3rd W60. Ian McCarthy recorded a time of 53:45.
