Vitality Westminster Mile (Sat. 27th Sept.)
Holly Dixon won the women's mile in 4:30 at the festival of mile running in London, finishing ahead of Khahisa Mhlanga (Herts Phoenix - 4:31) and Lucy Armitage (Sale Harriers - 4:35).

Eridge Park 10 Trail Challenge, Tunbridge Wells (Sun. 28th Sept.)
The 25th edition of the Eridge Park 10 saw firmer going than last year’s meeting with the mud writes Peter St-Amour. It may have been drier, but with no changes to the course there was no less elevation to content with, and the usual bogs and streams were as present as before.
Entirely off road and winding its way around the private estate, it’s an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday morning and well marshalled by Tunbridge Wells Harriers throughout. The scenery is pleasant and distracts from the fact the race is not 10 miles as may be expected, but 10.5 miles. The bonus final 0.5 miles are also slightly uphill for good measure.
Two Cambridge Harriers ran this year. Peter St-Amour (No 170) came in as 10th male veteran 40 in 1:26:29 and Matthew Durrant (No 46) 11th senior male in 1:28:18. Conditions were verging on the warm, making the pint of bitter especially welcome, washing down as it did your choice of homemade cake from a plentiful selection once over the finish line.
