Although we did not have athletes in all the events at this match, there were great performances from the athletes that competed. It was a very hot day in Dartford and the under 13 girls team did well to compete in the sweltering heat.
Katie Marsh got a great PB of 13.5 in the 70m hurdles, and a good time of 22.96 in her 150 race with second place in the javelin with a throw of 19.62.
Strel Tukala came second in her 75m race with a brilliant time of 10.41 and second in her 150 race with a great time of 20.53. Abigail Babalola got a good time of 11.75 in her 75m race.
Making her first appearance in the team Grace Montel ran a great 75 NS race with a great time of 12.01. Amelia also ran in the team for the first time, with a spirited 800m run in a time of 2.55.52. Orla Stanczyk ran her first 150 NS race with a very good time of 23.8, and also got so close to her PB in the shot with 4.53m.
The 4x100m replay team of Abigail, Orla, Katie and Strel brought in the last points of the day with a time of 61.28.
