Tonbridge Open

Easter Monday saw 8 athletes from Cambridge Harriers (burning off their Easter eggs perchance?) forgoing their bank holiday Monday rest to compete in the Tonbridge opens and take advantage of the very unseasonably hot weather we had for the day.

Highlight of the day was Kacey Walters’ new PB of 1.72m in the high jump where she not only broke her own club record for high jump, but which continues to see her toping the Power of 10 rankings for the U15 girls, (had she been an U17 athlete this would have placed her 2nd in the U17W rankings), as it is Kacey is now ranked 26th in the overall age group rankings which is a fantastic achievement for a 13 years old!

Well done to all those who got new PBs and who turned up to represent the club on such a glorious day.  The results were as follows:
