4 Harriers made the long journey north of the Thames to a hot and windy Allianz Park for the 2nd meeting in the 4-match LICC series, competing in 6 events with most of the Cambridge action taking place in the shot put ring. Most eye-catching performance was Cleo Agyepong’s PB of 9.86m in the 3kg shot and a season’s best of 35.10m for Peter Wishart in the 1.5kg Discus, which is also a best throw in 6 years! Cleo also competed in the 200m where she had to battle a strong swirling wind, and Peter also featured in the shot competition. Other Harriers competing included Cleo’s mum, Jenny, also throwing the shot, and Wole Odele in the 400m.
