Brandon Mingeli opened his season in fine style last week at the first of the Lee Valley sprints nights. A legal pb of 10.68 in the 100m was followed up by a slightly windy 21.03 in the 200m and puts him in the UK top three for both events so far this year
After three wins from three fixtures and with the vets league cancelled on Monday due to the weather our track and field teams currently have a 100% record in their matches this season. Sunday however sees the first Kent league match of the year when our Under 15/U13’s come up against Blackheath and Bromley at their home track of Norman Park. Blackheath have finished in the top three at the National finals of the Youth Development league in every year since 2015 so it may be a tall order to even get close but will be good preparation for the Kent champs the weekend after even so.
