There was a great turn out from club members for the first of our "Sutcliffe Indoor 60's" meeting of the season. At these meetings, organised by the club, all athletes get two races over 60m with the first seeded based on their PB (or estimated PB for those running 60 for the first time) and then with the second race being based on their time from the first round.
Cambridge Harriers made up 23 out of the 72 entries showing our increasing strength in depth. Doyin Aderinto was also fastest women on the day with her 2nd round clocking of 7.87 not being far off her PB. Nuriah Orhurhu ran PB’s in both the first and second rounds and her time of 7. 96 which puts her 2nd on the 2021 Power of Ten rankings for under 15 girls.
On the boys side Under 17 Rahaan Beckford Collier was fastest of the club’s male entrants with 7.35 with Nkwazi Ndila not far behind on 7.37. Next meeting is on Sunday 19th December.
