The 2018 indoor season kicked off at Lee Valley on Monday at the annual new year sprints meet. There were pb’s for Emily Worsfold (60m 8.29), Chaffon White McLeod (60m 7.61) and an indoor pb for Fuad Busoir (400 55.75). Wole Odele continued to defy the aging process running 8.01 for 60m at the age of 52 which is only just outside his all time pb of 7.89.
Other results before Christmas at the SESSA meeting at Lee Valley included a very impressive 6.88 60m by Brandon Mingeli and a rare outing over 400m by Vera Chinedu timing 61.93
