Last weekend saw three club members competing in Combined Events competitions. Hans Nmaju was at the English Schools Championships in Bedford and finished a highly creditable 10th in the U15B category beating his own club record in the process with a score of 2,692 points. Elijah Olaleye was at the Kent Championships in Medway Park having missed the qualifying competition for the Nationals with a broken toe. Elijah won the Kent title with a PB score of 2,593 points which would have seen him place 11th at Bedford not far behind Hans.

Gabby Noyce was the third club member competing but who's fortunes were not as great as Hans and Elijah's. Competing in the Kent U17W heptathlon Gabby had excellent performances in the hurdles, high jump and long jump but was below par in the shot and javelin and was disappointed to finish 4th with a score of 3,518.
