Chase the Sun 10km - Battersea Park
On Thursday 24th June, Ben Shearer, Rob Shearer, Lucy Foreman and Katie Sanders raced in the Battersea Park Chase the sun 10km.
A warm, calm evening presented some excellent conditions with some good times being posted. Ben Shearer came 2nd overall clocking a time of 32:34 and 1st in the V45 age category. Rob Shearer came 3rd in the V40 category with a time of 37:18.
Lucy was the 3rd Senior female, clocking a personal best time of 38:18. Katie came 2nd in her V35 category with a time of 40:54.
Chase the Sun Olympic Park 5km
Two Cambridge Harriers travelled to the Olympic park on Wednesday 9th June to race the 5km. Catherine Martin clocked an excellent time of 20:02 which was a personal best. Donna Martin completed the course in a time of 21:50 also a personal best.
Bromley Midsummer 10km
On Wednesday 23rd June only Ian McCarthy ran in this popular race. Ian came 9th in his age category V60 clocking a time of 51:30. A great effort on what can be quite a challenging course over a mixture of trail, grass and pavement.
