Twenty-one of our young athletes enjoyed the good weather at Parliament Hill on Saturday. In the U13 Girls Ailbhe Barnes produced a storming finish to grab 10th. In the U13 Boys Ethan Fiore returned to form to lead the team home in 77th. He was backed up by Louis Woods in 155th, Luca Treadwell 204th, Jack Adams 205th, Liam Carr 240th & Thomas Carbin 245th, giving the team 27th place.
Joshua Olawunmi had another good run in U17 Men race in 33rd with Reece Miles just pipping Tom Simpson in 77th and 78th. Evan Chandler completed the team in 172nd giving them 9th place. Unfortunately the Armitage-Hooke twins came down with food poisoning after celebrating the Chinese New Year.
Lara Atkinson fell below her usual high standards with 26th U17 Women with Monay 145 and Ciara 158th. Other finishers Madeline Tynan 96th and Katie Marsh 278th U13 Girls, Reuben Chandler 256th and Theo Hafford Tear 270th U13 Boys, Benjamin Tynan 227th and Antonay Thomas 288th U15 Boys and Molly Hawkins 62nd U20 Women
