On a wet course after the early morning rain, our young athletes took to the FootsCray Meadows twisty and undulating track for the first time. Lara Atkinson maintained her overall lead in the U17 Women’s standings. Despite not feeling up to par at the start, she hung on to come home 4th overall (3rdU17) in the U17/20 race.
Joshua Olawunmi had a strong run in the U17/20 Men’s race and was always in the leading group to finish 10th with Evan Chandler 24th.
In both the U13 & U15 Boys races we placed well as a team with Jack Adams leading the U13s after a strong run to 24th followed by Theo Treadwell 28th and Christian Hopper 30th 6th team. Ayub Salaad lead the U15s to 5th team in 18th with John Okomayin 21st and Louis Woods 22nd followed by Luca Treadwell in 29th. Antonay Thomas continued to improve in 39th with Jude Taylor 43rd.
Katie Marsh(47th) was our first girl home in the U13s followed by Kacey Walters 59th, Fillipa Nordgren 66th & Lola Thurston-Matthews 67th, 11th team.
