Norman Park, Bromley Friday, Aug 13 2021
Friday the 13th was lucky for some as 17 Harriers converged at Norman Park to compete over 100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, triple jump and javelin throw, for the latest in the series of Blackheath and Bromley Open meetings. They competed in a total of 19 events with Oliver Cook and Henry Onyejekwe both doubling up over 100m and 800m.

Main highlights were PBs for Jesse Feyita and Henry over 100m, Wole Odele over 400m and for David Poungui, Iris Williams, Aniket Iyengar and Henry (again) over 800m. Iris and Aniket were also the only Cambridge winners on the night, both working very hard to lead their 800m races from start to finish, even as the field closed in towards the end.

In the field, Chichi Cooper recorded a best of 10.57m in the triple jump, whilst Katie Marsh had a best javelin throw of 35.91m.
