Sabrina runs qualifying time for European Youths

Sabrina Sinha had to miss the Kent Championships this weekend as she has a very small window in which she can qualify for the European Youth Championships. This meant we have had to look for "female only" races where the conditions were / are conducive to fast times. For this reason she ran in Manchester yesterday at the BMC Grand Prix meeting at Sportscity.

Sabrina ran in the A race against senior GB athletes including Jess Judd. She ran a PB of 4.18.72 well within the qualifying time for the European Youth Championships of 4.26. Sabrina’s run broke her own U20 1500m club record and currently ranks her as number 1 on the IAAF U18 world rankings.

Fingers crossed the GB selectors consider her for the Europeans!
