Many of the club’s athletes have been active over the early indoor season. Daniele Falode continues his remarkable progress and now tops the UK Under 20 Triple jump rankings with a pb of 15.70 in Birmingham on Jan 18th. At the same meeting Luke Okosieme cleared a pb of 2.06m in the high Jump to rank 3rd in the UK. Other current UK Number 1’s include Dante Legister who equalled his pb and set a stadium record of 7.07 for 60m at Lee Valley last weekend plus Mubrrak Salih who is currently number 1 Under 15 over 300m (36.85) plus number 2 over both 60 (7.13) and 200m (23.22) !
Other doing well include Long Jumper Ayanna Henry 5.17 off a new run up, Shot Put Cleo Agyepong (11.40) whilst Brandon Mingeli continues his development with a 6.73 60m for 8th place in the UK senior rankings. Ove the longer distances Caroline Ford ran 4.36.18 for 1500m in Sheffield at the start of the month and Maddie Tynan looked strong running a 2.31.24 800m
