DAGENHAM

Dante Legister (main photofinish image) and Wole Odele were the two to don the light-blue vests amongst 697 entries at a windy Jim Peters stadium for the second in the

series of covid-secure BFTTA Open meetings.

Significant tailwinds saw both propelled to their fastest lifetime runs with Dante just edged out for 1st place, by 0.02s, in the fastest of 4 U15 Boys 100m races, to finish in a time of 11.16s (PB 11.18). Wole crossed the finish line in 25.57s (PB 25.60) in the first of 2 Masters 200m races.

Wole was initially scheduled to be in the 2nd of 3 All-Masters races, but was moved down to the first race due to a few no-shows. The second race had legal wind of +1.9m/s
