A much improved turnout with James Barnes and Lara Atkinson both earning third place finishes. However James’s earned him automatic selection for Kent with a powerful finish to overall the athlete who beat him at Somerhill last time out. Jack Adams had a storming start and was up with James for the first 800m and he was still inside the top twenty with Gervace Card as they approached the last kilometre but he ran out of steam and finished 33rd whilst Gervace faded a little to get 20th. Strong steady runs from Theo Treadwell, 31st ,and Dontay Thomas, 57th, with Aidan Newton in 58th saw the team to 5th place. Lara Atkinson helped the Senior Women to second place in both team races with a strong run. Elsewhere Ethan Fiore had a good run to 8th in the under 15 Boys with Luca Treadwell 48th, Nathan Awoyele 49th and Liam Carr 63rd for 8th placed team. Joshua Olawunmi was 8th U20 Menand Hannah Hopper 20th in the U17 Women with debutant Lilly Hall 63rd U15 Girls. The U13 Girls came 9th with Lola Keable 38th, Francesca Whittle 39th, Orla Stanczyk 46 & Katie Marsh 47th.
