Club members came away with three golds and a silver from this year’s SEAA U13/U15/U17 Indoor Championships, reports Mick Bond.
Emily Cadman (pictured below) showed a clean pair of heels to everyone in both the Under 15 60m and 200m coming home with two golds, a first and second place in the National rankings (7.81s and 25.29s) and a winning time in the 200m that would have actually won the Under 17 race!
In the Under 15 Boys shot Michael Bridge left it to the last round to win with a throw of 13.21m only 1cm ahead of second place
Back on the track Elijah Olaleye grabbed silver in the under 15 Boys 60m hurdles in a PB of 8.75s and then added a 4th place in the 300m in 40.24s, a career in 400m hurdles beckons?
