Strong Cambridge Performances at the 2016 London Marathon

Twenty Cambridge Harriers completed the London Marathon today. There were some particularly impressive overall and category placings in what was the second fastest marathon of all time on a legal course.

We had some excellent performances all around from our club members, a whole heap of new PBs and a very strong placing in the men’s national championship team race.

Edit: The men’s team came in fourth placed in the national championships behind Notts AC, Serpentine and Bournemouth AC. The combined time run by Ben Shearer, Rob Jackaman and Danny Kendall of 7hrs22m55s was only 2m10s bhind third place.

Congratulations to all our runners today.
