The senior women roared home in third place in the last Kent league match to clinch the bronze medal in the team of six competition. This has been a much improved season for the senior women with greater strength and depth in the squad. The bronze medal was a true team effort with virtually every member of the squad contributing to the end result at one race or another.
The squad has always been mutually supportive but the improved numbers have also meant that competing has been so much more fun. Cambridge Harriers also came fifth out of 17 teams in the team of three competition. A special mention should go to Kate Evan Jones who came second in her age category in the Vet league and 18th overall. Great result everyone!
