We had two teams at this year’s event, U13 & U15 Boys, again held at Berry Park Mansfield. After all the overnight and early morning rain the weather turned out warm and sunny for the racing. The U13s went first with Ethan Fiore (7 25.95) on the first leg of 3 x 2k and after falling in the mud near the end brought them in 41st out of 116 teams. James Barnes ( 7 43.75) was next and he had another good run bringing us up to 32nd. Jack Adams ( 8 07.45) brought the team home in 39th one place and 3 seconds behind Tonbridge.
Louis Woods (7 26.75) led off for the U15s bringing them in 89rd out of 125. John Okomayin ( 7 45.35) ran the second leg moving up to 83rd with Luca Treadwell ( 8 15.50) finishing off to bring us home 86th.
It was good to see Sabrina Sinha back running for University of Birmingham in the Junior Women’s 3 x 2.5k race, doing their second leg in 9 20.55.
