Updated: Jan 9, 2021

A disappointing turn out from our youngsters due to a mixture of school trips and illness.

James Barnes backed up his impressive first KCCL with a forth place over the tough Somerhill School course, just missing out on 3rd in the final 200m which would have earned him automatic selection for Kent. He was followed home by Theo Treadwell in 41st and Aidan Newton giving them 7th team. In the U13 Girls race they finished 8th , lead home by Francesca Whittle 38th, Evie Ravenscroft 42nd, Lola Keable 46th, Orla Stanczk 54th and Katie Marsh 55th. Liam Carr lead the U15 Boys to 10th  in 66th followed by Nathan Awoyele 70th, Thomas Carbin 74th, Christian Hopper 75th, Luca Treadwell 79th and a limping Fredrik Nordgren 88th. Madeline Tynan struggling with an injury was 26th in the U15 Girls with Hannah Hopper 22nd in the U17 Women’s event. Joshua Olawunmi was 9th in the U20 Men’s race and Joe Collins 41st in the U17 Men’s race.
