James Barnes gave another fighting performance to finish 4th which gave him 2nd overall. He was followed home by Gervace Car, 20th, who had escaped Jack Adams, 33rd ,in the last 500m as Jack had run out of steam. Jack was almost caught by Aidan Newton who finished strongly for 42nd. Ethan Fiore led the U15 Boys in 11th with Luca Treadwell holding off our October Athlete of the Month, Liam Carr, 55th & 56th. John Okomayin was our only U17 in 23rd whilst Joshua Olawunmi came 5th in the U20 race which gave him 3rd place overall.
Disappointedly we only fielded two girls, both in the U13s with Lola Keable 35th and Katie Marsh 43rd. Overall they were 24th Lola and 29th Katie.
Following the League races we have James and Ailbhe Barnes, Ethan Fiore and Lara Atkinson selected to represent Kent in the SEAA Inter Counties on 8th December.
