Greenwich Meridian 10K


Thanks to all competitors who took part in the Greenwich 10K and Fun Run today.

Chris Minns of Beckenham RC was the overall runaway winner in the 10K in a time of 35:57 whilst Claire Cornwell of Bexley AC was first lady and 8th overall in 38:55. Chris was also the first male over the Meridian Line with Teresa Murphy of Kent AC winning the ladies prize. Cambridge Harriers were prominent in the race with Phil Dickens having a close battle with Keith Newton before taking 2nd place and Jerry Carnell and Roger Portis winning their respective age categories. In addition, the Club was the first male team home.

A special thanks to all officials and marshals who made the race such a success again.
