Conditions on the day were extremely muddy and wet underfoot which lead to challenging running conditions. Despite this, our three under 13 girls and three under 15 girls coped well and battled through the mud to all finish their respective races.
Abigail Richards was first to finish for the under 13’s, in a very respectable 16th place from the 298 runners. Mia Harris (223rd) and Amelia Lawrence (230th were our other two finishers from the club. Unfortunately we were unable to complete the team event as 4 runners per club were required.

Bella Richards was first to finish for the under 15 girls in 108th place (303 finishers). She was followed home by Evie Ravenscroft (203rd) and Inez Rice (273rd). As for the under 13’s we were not able to place in the team event.
Well done to all those who made the trip to Parliament Hill to support the club.
The next race will be the ‘Nationals’ which are held in Nottingham in February.
